Coloured Floor Marking Tape for Site Safety

Floor marking tape ideal for separating areas within busy industrial or manufacturing environments. By using adhesive floor marking tape, businesses can easily signal to their employees that an area is dangerous or home to a specific type of activity, and this red floor tape from PROline is a durable and vibrant option.

In a bold red colour, the self-adhesive tape can be used for short and medium-term floor marking, while still being easy to remove for those worried about how to remove floor marking tape from their premises. Removing PROline tape can usually be done without leaving residue on the surface, providing a simple solution no matter how short-term the floor marking needs to be.

Uses of Adhesive Floor Marking Tape

Companies use adhesive floor marking tape for all sorts of purposes, including the demarcation of aisles, pedestrian routes and traffic routers within busy industrial settings. Floor marking tape can tell pedestrians where to or where not to walk. It can also provide clear guidance for forklift truck drives on where to deposit their load or be used to make all employees and visitors aware of hazardous locations such as electrical panels or gas valves.

Creating a Colour Coded System with Floor Marking Tape

A floor marking system only works when it is understood by all team members and easy to explain to visitors too. So, colour coding with adhesive floor marking tape should be consistent across a site, with the same colours used to denote the same type of areas. For instance, PROline red tape could be used to denote pedestrian walking zones or highlight where scrap bins or storage bins are kept.

The two most important elements of a coloured floor marking system are consistency and education, meaning businesses should take time to educate their employees on the colour coding floor marking tape and why it matters for the safety and security of a site. In addition, use signage to draw attention to the system to ensure site visitors are protected too.
