Open Metal Seals for Steel Strapping

Metal seals are widely regarded as the best option for sealing strapping and security loads. These open metal seals for steel strapping are suitable for strapping between 12mm and 19mm, making them perfect for use with boxes and bundles of various shapes and sizes. These open metal seals are dispatched in dispensing boxes of 1000, ensuring there are plenty for employees to use at critical times. When used with a reliable strap sealing tool, these metal seals can help to protect products during transit, making them crucial in any business where shipping is part of the day-to-day activities.

Open Metal Seals for Crimping

Open metal seals for steel strapping can be used with a specialist packing sealer to create a crimp joint. These joints in the strapping are made when the sealing tool presses or bends undulations into the metal seal and the ends of the strapping threaded into it. These crimps help to create a more durable seal able to withstand transit or long periods in storage. As these joints add strength to the strapping, they are commonly used by businesses wishing to secure loads ahead of shipping to customers or clients. Open seals for steel strapping are an indispensable part of shipping and logistics for many companies.

Why Use Open Metal Seals for Steel Strapping

These open seals are a simple and yet highly effective way of sealing two ends of strapping together in preparation for transit or storage. They have a timeless and durable design, explaining their longevity as a strapping sealing method of choice for many businesses. In contrast to homemade alternatives or even plastic strapping seals, these open metal seals for steel strapping are strong enough to work effectively with the largest loads, allowing businesses to strap their bundles up safe in the knowledge the seal will last for as long as it needs to. The joint strength of strapping is one of the most important elements of any packaging process, and for best results these metal seals should be used in conjunction with quality strapping and sealing tools to achieve the right results.
